This feels like the good old days again...is there anything we can do to make Beeneren stop batting Kendall leadoff? I mean, can we get him to stop playing that shithead? I'm just asking.

Zito: always pitches just well enough to lose. This way, you can't blame him. You can just say "Oh, he didn't get any run support ..." or some other smoke-screening blather.

Bottom line is he is the very kind of mediocre pitcher you saw today:
not quite a quality start, not quite a good start, not quite a bad start. Just a ... start. He'll never miss one, after all. Eighty-six pitches in five innings; that's about right. No wonder he hasn't thrown a complete game since 2003 ...

Enjoy it, Giants fans. This is what you paid $140+M for: no runs from
Bonds and a "blah" start from Zito.
