Senor(ita) Choke


Eric "Senor Choke" Chavez and his absolutely pathetic performance since signing a $66 million contract prior to the 2004 season was a major reason we started Pathetics Nation. (You might even say he is our poster child.) And Mr. Mediocre continued to solidify his reputation in tonight's game, going 0-for-4, leaving two runners in scoring position and erasing a leadoff runner by grounding into a double play. Sure, the rest of the team played like shit, too. But Chavez, the de facto captain, deserves most of the blame. Beaned Again!
