What is
Pathetics Nation?
Pathetics Nation is an Oakland A's blog. Here, there's none of that "In Billy We Trust" bullshit. And we won't try to sell you any T-shirts, either. (We don't need to--we have real jobs.) We love the A's, but we tell it like it is.

Fun Fact
Sad but true: The T-shirt salesman who runs Athletics Nation also runs fan websites for the Los Angeles Angels, the Texas Rangers, the Seattle Mariners, and even the San Francisco Giants--all teams that REAL A's fans hate with a passion. .

Suckin' Turds

Billy Beane's $21 Million Mistake makes another intoxicated case for demotion to the Tijuana donkey-show circuit. And the inventors of the Breathalizer deserve all the blame.

You forgot:

And Pathetics Nation deserves all the blame!

Seriously, Beano blew this one. And it's not the first time that he's made a bonehead deal.

When will the masses wake up and finally realize that the Oakland GM is NOT major-league baseball's Second Coming?

F that! Its all Oober's fault that we couldn't beat Melvin's boys, since Oober is obviously a closet Giants fan, and Melvin is GGFL (Gay Giant For Life)...

I'm taking credit for today's win against the 1st place Tigers. More to come.

I'm also placing blame on Oober for the fact that Ozzie Guillen selected the atrocious and most overrated pitcher of all time, Mark Buerle, to the All Star Team.

Today's game is dedicated to the Anti-Blez as Loaiza is taking on Escobar and the Anaheim Monkeys! Go DUI!

I am hoping some dumb team (maybe the Phillies?) will trade for Loaiza on July 30, thinking they have a shot at the wild card or something.
