MOMMY?

Kotsay, Payton celebrate Mother's Day in long-ball style. Haren strikes out six, walks none in complete-game victory. Perez collects his first hit of season.

Agreed. The 2-run shutout was painful, but overall, it wasn't a demoralizing series. Could have been much, much worse--a sweep, and all of them blowouts.
As it stands, the two teams are 3-3 against each other this season.
Anti-Blez,
Where are you at in Tokyo? I'm in Tokyo as well, following the A's via SkyPerfect TV as often as possible. Let me know, I found Ken Macha baseball cards posted at Legends Sports Bar.

Oooh, this is dangerous! We may actually know each other...
I was a regular at Legends when it first opened a couple of years back.
So, how'd you find this site?
Oober...
Once again, we're in total agreement. Play .500, get the team healthy, and then let's see 'em make their run.
The Angels DEFINITELY have more issues than the AAA's, er, A's...
Anti-Blez,
Actually, I don't think we know each other. I've been in Tokyo since Sept, and am heading back to CA this Aug. I've been a hardcore A's fan all of my 28 years...I found your site from the boys over at firemacha.com
Anti-Blez,
If you want talk shit about Macha or Beane/Loiaza Fan anytime, give me a shout (as_superfan at docomo.ne.jp) [or I've got non-keitai email as well--let me know]...we can down pints at Legends or someplace while watching Macha sleep live via satellite...

Thanks for the invite. I may take you up on the offer.
Cheers!
