Open Thread: Game 107 - A's at Minnesota
By The Anti-Blez on Wednesday, August 03, 2005
On May 29, the Oakland AAA's were 15 games under .500.
With a win today, the Oakland A's will move to 15 games over .500.
That's a 30-game turnaround in a little more than two months.
Pathetics Nation takes all the credit.
Let's Go A's!
EDIT: The 15-game-over-.500/30-game-turnaround thing didn't happen tonight. BEANED AGAIN!

I've added a Swindall-O-Meter (the "O" is for ZERO) to the front page of the site. I'll update it after every game.
What is his CS percentage, anyway. Has he thrown out more than a half-dozen base-stealers this season?
WHAT A FRAUD! A's fans really, really got BEANED AGAIN on that acquisition.
Hard-On strikes out the side. Nice.
Hard-On should have a hard-on for Senor Choke and the rest of the A's offensive offense, which has been absent so far today.
C'mon, already--score some friggin' runs!
I wonder if the Asslickers have ever considered the fact that if Beano had been able to stay with his Opening Day "dream" lineup, Erubial "The Holy Gail" Dumbazo would still be playing 1B for the AAA's and Dan "The Stud" Johnson would still be stuck in the minors.
Why doesn't the T-shirt salesman ask Beano about that in one of his asslicking interviews?
Thanks, SR.
What's even scarier is the fact that the National League is the base-stealing league, not the AL. But all of the heavy-footed AL baserunners know that Swindall possesses a throwing arm made out of Japanese ramen, so they run on him anyway.
BEANED AGAIN BY BEANO'S EGO.
If tonight's offense is what we can expect for the rest of the season, maybe Ratto really was right, and the AAA's will only win 60 this season!
What was it I was saying about Johnson a few moments ago?
Beano's "Holy Grail" Dumbazo would have been an automatic out. DJ, though, knocks out the go-ahead run.
Um...
BEANED AGAIN!
Swindall tagged the runner on the ass not because he was trying to tag him out, but because he was trying to make an after-game date!
Swindall has that "Kevin Millar look" that makes you wonder whether he not only "bats right" but also "switch hits."
If Swindall ever hits a home run this year, the Swindall-O-Meter will take all the credit.
