This site is SUPPOSED to be funny. Not serious. Anyone who takes it that way is misguided and has no sense of comedic irony.

Real baseball fans know that you should not only love your team, but also be able to make fun of them from time to time. It's what makes the game so enjoyable. Sites like Pathetics Nation (and Dodger Blues, Bambino's Curse, etc.) are run by guys and gals who know that it's just as much fun to poke fun at the team as it is to yell "You bum!" while sitting in the bleachers on a warm Sunday afternoon.

Unfortunately, some folks take the game (and themselves) waaaaayyyyyy too seriously, and denounce those of us who just want to kick back and have fun.

Whatever...

As far as being famous, nah, not me. Heck, barely a dozen people even know about this site. How could I ever be famous?! LOL

OK, fair enough.I won't insult you with that term anymore.

But please, at least respect our right to speak our minds and make fun of the A's .

You can hate us for it--that's fine--and you can insult us, but always remember that we ARE A's fans, and we love the team just as much as you do (and maybe even more).

Which brings us back to the earlier question:

Can a guy who owns a site for Angels fans (halosheaven.com) really, truly be an A's fan?

If that's the way you feel, then I'm sorry, but you have no business here and will have to leave.

Pathetics Nation is a site for A's fans and A's fans alone, not those who think it's OK to support the enemy (in this case, the Angels) by making money off of them.
