Open Thread: Game 88 - TexAss vs. A's
By The Anti-Blez on Thursday, July 14, 2005
The A's hope to pick up where they left off before the All-Star break. If they win 3 out of 4 against the Rangers, Oakland can move into second place and into long-shot contention for the Wild Card. A split (or worse), they remain in third and we will have no choice but to relegate the team back to AAA status.
One refreshing change between "this" Oakland team and the one that played the first half of the season:
Byrnesy The Clown is GONE!
Oakland can once again enjoy a Retard Free Zone in the outfield.
Let's Go A's!

Whether it will be tonight or later in the series, we WILL see Rogers pitch. Which is a travesty in itself. The MLB front office is a joke.
Butt Seawig should go back to his used-car dealership in Milwaukee and leave baseball alone.
Beano is waiting for Gimper to break out of his "early season" slump.
Well, Beano can wait all season, 'cause Gimpy Gimper will never break out of his slump. He is a classic example oF being "BEANED AGAIN!"
Two early runs for the A's, but they should have scored more. Two on with nobody out after Chavez goes deep to lead off the inning, and all they can do is muster 1 more run?
Two-hit, nine-K, no-walks complete game. We'll take it.
A's continue to show vast improvement since the launch of Pathetics Nation.
We take all the credit.
