Open Thread: Game 86 - AAA's at Chicago White Sox

For some reason, Chicago plays like ChicAAAgo when facing Oakland.
Here's hoping the trend continues.
Let's Go AAA's!

Yeah, I just read the news myelf.
bballfanr33, I salute you. You called it, and I was wrong.
Of course, this doesn't change the fact that the AAA's have sucked for most of this season--and Kotsay was already on the roster. Keeping him in a green-and-gold uniform MIGHT benefit the team during the next three seasons. It's unlikely the matter much at all this season.
The AAA's will have to go something like 55-20 during the second half to even be considered a contender.
He's gotta be planning to flip Payton. But for what? Another scrub who's been cut from a big-league roster?
3-run dong.
Nice way for Kotsay to celebrate his contract extension.
That makes sense--trading Byrnes and keeping Payton.
Of course, in that case Beano should have made the trade during the off-season, when Byrnes had higher value. His .260 BA and erratic defense don't look so great now...
Great story!
Nice win for the AAA's today.
A sweep in Chicago is asking for a bit much, but it sure would be sweet.
