The AAA's continue to show they have what it takes to LOSE.
They have a LOSING RECORD.
Last night they managed to LOSE ANOTHER GAME IN THE AL WEST STANDINGS.
They also managed to LOSE ANOTHER GAME IN THE WILD-CARD RACE.
They will LOSE MARK KOTSAY WHEN BEANO TRADES HIM FOR TWO 7-ELEVEN CLERKS AND A SLURPEE TO BE NAMED LATER.
And they continue to LOSE THEIR REAL FANS.
By the end of the season, the only fans the AAA's will have left are the hirsute she-men who think the T-shirt salesman knows what the fuck he's talking about.
ASSLICKERS, YOU ARE BEANED AGAIN!

I know who bballfanr33 is, which is why I'm ignoring the "request."
The next time the T-shirt salesman "interviews" Beano, it would be nice if he grew a couple of journalistic balls and asked the General Mismanager "WHY THE FUCK GINTER IS IN ON THE 25-MAN ROSTER?"
But I don't really expect the T-shirt salesman to ask such a question. He'll be too busy sucking up to Beano and trying to tongue-tickle his ass with comments such as "Billy, I have a Kotsay jersey. Just tell me you'll resign him." (That is a direct quote from the T-shirt salesman, including the misuse of the word "resign" when he really meant "re-sign.")
Well, Mr. Wannabe Baseball Writer, you can trade that Kotsay jersey for a Ginter jersey, because Beano is gonna trade Kotsay and Ginter (with his awe-inspiring .177 average) will be a regular on the AAA's team that will finish this season 20 games under .500.

One of the best posts I've read on ANY Oakland blog this season was your observation of what Cal Ripken Jr. said of the 2000 Orioles and the fact that by the time they reached the .500 mark, they had no gas left in the tank and that's why the team collapsed at the end.
The same thing is obviously happening to the AAA's right before our very eyes.
That, and the fact that we have Moron Macha starting Keith Gimper again. Guess he wants to get the Gimp some playing time so he's "ready" to step in when Kotsay is traded in a couple of weeks.
On one of his Asslickers Nation posts, Robb writes that the T-shirt salesman "is truely {sic} a great writer."
Now that we know where you're coming from, bballfanr33, please go back to sucking the T-shirt salesman's strap-on and his bitch Ohad's pock-marked teat.
The Blue Gays have knocked Hard-on out of the game.

It's simply amazing to me that anyone with a brain could defend Beano's acquisition of Swindall.
Beano has burned this team over and over again by his horrible Moneybawl-inspired moves.

As you are a scant 15 years old, I wouldn't expect you to fully understand what it is like to be a LONGTIME Oakland fan. I have witnessed the team win four World Series championships, and expect nothing less from the--this year and every year. And while I am realistic and know that a team cannot possibly win it all each season, I still DEMAND that the owners of the team spend what it takes to field a contender, and that the GM spend wield his power wisely by acquiring and holding on to the best players he can.
Beano and Co. have done none of this.
They have NOT fielded a World Series contender. No matter what the T-shirt salesman tells you, the ALDS is NOT the World Series. Not even close. Of course, you weren't even born when Oakland last won a World Series, so you wouldn't understand this.
That's OK. You are young, and hopefully you someday WILL be able to savor the feeling of your team capturing the World Series flag. Unfortuntely, that won't happen under Beano and his ilk.
If you enjoy settling for second best (or, during this season, probably second WORST), so be it. There is a whole nation of Asslickers who have set equally low standards. (And there is a whole world of T-shirt hucksters willing to take advantage of your type and sell you crappy shirts with cliched slogans at inflated prices.)
But here at Pathetics Nation, we expect the best, and we DEMAND the best.
No, we LOVE the A's. (The single "A" version.)
But we HATE the way Beano and his Moneybawl crowd have destroyed the team.
For more than a century, the game was led by gutsy guys like Connie Mack and Casey Stengel and Billy Martin. Today, computer weenies like Beano and his buddy on the Dodgers (who have also gone into the toilet this season) are trying to "re-invent" the game. And carpetbaggers like T-shirt salesman are trying to make a buck off of the "reinvention."
Moneybawl is doomed to failure. And when it sinks (as the AAA's are sinking this season), the REAL fans will be able to salvage what is left and return their team and the game to its former glory.
Those who hang out at Pathetics Nation will enjoy a World Series with the A's again someday. And when it happens, the carpetbaggers will already have packed up and left town, taking the Asslickers' money along with them.
