Open Thread: Game 80 - Chicago White Sox vs. AAA's
By The Anti-Blez on Saturday, July 02, 2005
The AAA's are so close to the .500 mark that they can taste it.
To get there, they'll have to beat a team that is 28 games OVER .500.
Let's Go AAA's!

Hah! Whiner posted, then deleted her post.
For the record, we NEVER delete posts here. We like Asslickers like Whiner to show just how wishy-washy she is.
Whiner...
WRONG!
It says "This post has been removed by the author."
If it had been removed by us, then it would say "This post has been removed by the moderator."
Unlike the T-shirt salesman, we don't ban members or delete posts, even when the authors dare to challenge our immense baseball wisdom.
You disappoint me.
The winning streak is over. The AAA's hopes to have a .500 record at the end of the first half are dashed. They are now GUARANTEED to have a LOSING record after 81 games have been played.
And the loss to the Chisux today points out the fundamental problem with the current AAA's lineup: NO TRUE HOME-RUN THREAT.
Talk about the resurgence of Chavez all you want, but the fact remains that he is NOT a true home-run threat.
We lost our home-run threat when Tejada was allowed to sign with the Orioles.
And there's only one person to blame for that...
BEANED AGAIN!
