Scary thought: Macha is fired (or, as I predict, resigns), and this team continues to slide. Will the Beane-washed brigade then finally admit it's time to can their fearless leader?

If Macha's gone, I think the team will still slide. THIS season's a lost cause.

How much of that is Macha's fault and how much of that is Beane's fault? I don't quite know.
