Are we forever stuck with Beane?
By The Anti-Blez on Saturday, May 28, 2005
As most Oakland fan's know, when the team was sold to Lew Wolff, the new owner made Billy Beane a limited partner in the franchise.
With Beane ensconced not only in the GM position through 2012 but also the owner's suite, is there any hope the Oakland front office may someday realize that Moneyball doesn't really work unless you have a "Big Three" to back you up?
How far must the team sink before Beane begins to reconsider his approach and let small-ball advocates like Ron Washington take charge?

AN has turned into a dicatorship, with users being banned for speaking their mind. I guess that's only fitting, as Blez has already proudly announced plans to sell "In Billy We Trust" T-shirts with Soviet-style "cult of personality" images on them.
